Frequently Asked Questions
Are there long contract commitments?
No. You choose the subscription length that works best for your business. We offer 1, 3, 6 and 12-month options, giving you the flexibility to start short or lock in longer for reduced pricing.
All subscriptions automatically renew for the same term at the same price unless notice is given. For 3, 6 and 12-month plans we require 30 days’ notice before the end of the contract, and for monthly plans we require 7 days’ notice.
Will my request be completed on time?
Yes. Once a deadline is agreed by both you and the designer, our designers never miss it. Deadlines are set collaboratively during the briefing process, ensuring they’re realistic for the scope of work. Just like with any in-house team, freelancer or agency, impossible deadlines aren’t productive. The difference with us is that when we agree a timeline, you can rely on it being delivered without compromise.
How can I keep track of what my Creative Partner is working on?
We fit into the way you already work. If your team uses tools like Trello, Slack, Asana or Monday.com, we’ll slot straight in so you can assign, review and approve work with full visibility. If you don’t have a system in place, we’ll create a dedicated workflow board on Trello for you and invite your team in — giving you real-time updates, an organised record of progress, and an easy way to attach files or add comments whenever needed.
We do have a recommended way of working which we’ve found to be the most efficient and consistent across all customers. We’ll share these recommendations during your first kick-off meeting and integrate fully from day one, so you have a smooth and effective process from the start.
Can I plug my Creative Partner into my own project management software?
Absolutely. Your Creative Partner is an extension of your team and will work within any project management software you already use, such as Asana, Monday.com, Slack or others. If you don’t currently have a system in place, we’ll set up a dedicated Trello board for you, invite your team in, and manage workflow from there.
We also have a recommended way of working that we’ve refined across multiple customers to be the most efficient and reliable. We’ll share this during your first kick-off meeting and fully integrate it from day one, so you benefit from a smooth, proven process while still having the flexibility to adapt it to your own setup.
Can I have an unlimited amount of calls and meetings?
Unlike many subscription design services that don’t offer meetings at all, we include up to one 30-minute call per week as part of your service at no extra cost. Most of our clients use this time to set priorities, review progress, and keep projects moving smoothly.
If you need longer or more frequent calls, we can accommodate these at our standard hourly rate of £75 + VAT. For in-person meetings, time is also chargeable at the same hourly rate, including travel, and rounded up to the next hour (for example, 2.8 hours of travel would be billed as 3).
This approach ensures your investment goes where it matters most — into creative output rather than excessive meeting time. From global brands to small businesses, our clients consistently tell us this is a welcomed benefit, as it saves time, avoids unnecessary costs, and keeps the focus firmly on results.
Is there a limit to the amount of work I can request?
There’s no limit to the number of requests you can make. Your Creative Partner will work on them one at a time, in priority order, so the most important tasks are tackled first — just like the Eat That Frog approach to productivity. This ensures focus, quality and consistent progress without things slipping through the cracks.
Each subscription includes one dedicated Creative Partner, but if your workload increases, you can easily plug in more designers. You’ll still have a single point of contact to manage everything, making communication simple and scaling seamless.
This means you get the focus of an in-house designer combined with the flexibility to expand into a whole creative department when you need it, all without the overheads.
What days is my Creative Partner available?
Your Creative Partner is available 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. If your Partner takes annual leave, another Creative Partner will step in to cover, so you’re never left waiting. Unlike hiring in-house, you don’t pay for holidays or time off — it’s all included as part of the service.
The only exception is during the Christmas period, when our office closes from 24th December until the first working day in January. Your Creative Partner will confirm exact dates with you in advance to make sure you can plan accordingly.
What type of work is included in my subscription?
Everything that requires a creative eye is included. Unlike other services that limit you or treat items like video editing, app design or animation as extras, our subscription covers the full spectrum of creative design work.
Here are just some of the tasks our Creative Partners deliver every day:
- Extensive brochures (Also dealing with the printers / print houses)
-
Animated explainer videos, promo videos, social content and paid ads
-

If it requires design, it’s included. We don’t upsell or hide things behind add-ons – from brochures to brand guidelines, animation to digital campaigns, everything is part of your subscription.
Can I request multiple projects at once?
Yes, but handled one at a time in priority order. Unless you have more than one creative partner plugged in, then it’s two at a time in prioirty order, and so on.
Can I pause my design subscription?
No, subscriptions cannot be paused, but you are free to cancel at the end of your chosen term. If you know in advance that you only need support at certain times of the year (for example, Q1 and Q3), we can discuss a bespoke subscription that fits your schedule. This way, your Creative Partner’s time is reserved exclusively for you, and we can plan ahead to deliver maximum value during the months you need us most.
What if I want to upgrade or downgrade my plan?
We’ve built our service to be flexible around your needs. If you want to upgrade, we can put this in place straight away so you get immediate access to extra creative support. If you’d like to downgrade, that change will simply take effect from the start of your next renewal period. This way you’re always in control, able to scale up when you need more, or scale back when things are quieter, without being locked into something that no longer fits.
What happens if I cancel?
You’re always in control of your subscription. If you decide to cancel, work will continue as normal right up until the end of your agreed subscription term. All we ask is that notice is given in line with your contract — 30 days before the end of a 3, 6, or 12-month plan, or 7 days before the end of a 1-month plan. This ensures a smooth handover, no disruption to ongoing projects, and that you receive the full value of the time you’ve already committed to.
Are there limits to revisions?
Revisions are unlimited within the scope of the original brief. That means you can refine and adjust until you’re happy without worrying about extra costs or going over budget. Each revision is treated as its own task with a new deadline agreed, so everything stays clear and organised. Because the service is unlimited, you’re free to request as many refinements as you like — it’s all part of the process.
Do you guarantee results?
We guarantee delivery of high-quality design work that meets the agreed-upon brief and deadlines. While we can’t promise specific outcomes such as sales or conversions (as these depend on factors outside of design), we do guarantee creative that’s fit for purpose and aligned to your goals.
Who owns the rights to the work?
All final, approved work is 100% yours once payment is complete. You’ll own the rights to use, share, and reproduce the work as you wish, with no ongoing licensing or hidden restrictions. We’re also happy to sign NDAs where required to protect confidentiality. On occasion, we may ask permission to feature selected work in our portfolio or case studies, but this will always be agreed in advance, either in the contract you have signed or through written or verbal consent.
What file formats will I receive?
We provide production-ready files tailored to your needs. Common formats include:
-
Design: AI, PSD, XD, Figma, Canva
-
Video: MP4, MOV, Premiere Pro, After Effects
-
Static/Exports: PNG, JPEG, PDF, SVG
-
Presentation/Docs: PowerPoint, Google Slides, PDFs
If you need specialist or editable files, just ask — we can supply the source files too, so you have everything you need.
What if I’m not happy with the work?
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. We’ll keep refining until the work meets the agreed brief, with unlimited revisions included. Because of the years of experience each designer has, the way we work and the strong partnerships we build, it’s rare this even becomes an issue — but if it does, we’ll always get it right.
Do unused hours or requests roll over?
No. Your subscription gives you ongoing access to your Creative Partner within working hours. The focus is on consistent delivery, not banked hours, ensuring your projects stay on track without carry-over confusion.
What’s excluded from my subscription?
Your subscription covers everything design-related, from branding and animation to video editing and UI/UX design. What’s not included are services outside of design, such as coding, complex web development, copywriting, or paid media management.
However, one of our biggest advantages is that we’re not just a design team in isolation. We also have in-house departments for web development, SEO, content marketing, copywriting, social media, and paid media. This gives our designers a genuine 360° view of how your creative fits into the bigger picture, rather than the tunnel vision you often get with freelance designers or agencies focused on just one thing.
If you need support in these additional areas, we can connect you directly with our in-house specialists to make sure your creative works hand-in-hand with your wider marketing goals.
Do unused hours or requests roll over?
No – because our service doesn’t run on “banked hours.” We operate on deadlines and agreed deliverables. Each task is scheduled with your Creative Partner and delivered within realistic timelines based on what one designer can achieve during working hours.
Think of it like working with an in-house designer: you don’t track their value by the clock, you measure it by the output and quality. The same applies here. By focusing on deadlines rather than allocated hours, your projects move forward smoothly without the confusion of rollover or “use it or lose it” time.
It’s similar to a gym membership – you don’t carry over unused hours; you pay for access to expert equipment and trainers whenever you need them. Here, you’re paying for consistent creative access and results, not time on a stopwatch.
Why is this better value than hiring in-house, freelancers, agencies, or other subscription services?
Because we remove all the hidden costs and risks. With us, you avoid recruitment fees, pensions, NI, software, equipment, training, management time, and holiday cover. Clients typically save upwards of £22.5k per subscription every year, with some saving four times that by running multiple retainers.
Unlike freelancers, you don’t risk delays, inconsistent quality, or disappearing mid-project. Unlike agencies, you don’t pay inflated day rates or wait weeks for delivery. And unlike other subscription services, we don’t cut corners with juniors or cap your revisions. Every Creative Partner has 7+ years of hands-on experience and delivers unlimited revisions until it’s right.
In short, we give you the expertise and consistency of an in-house designer, the flexibility of a freelancer, the firepower of an agency, and the simplicity of a subscription without the drawbacks of any of them.
Do you really work like part of my team?
Yes. Every Creative Partner plugs directly into your existing workflows, whether that’s Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Slack, Teams or another platform. If you don’t already have a system, we’ll create one for you and onboard your team so everything runs seamlessly. This means we don’t just feel like an add-on, we operate as if we were your in-house creative department, only without the overheads.
Still unsure? Take a look at our customer success stories. And if you don’t want to just take our word for it, we’re happy for you to contact our clients directly and hear first-hand how the partnership works day-to-day.
How quickly will you start?
In some cases, we can begin the very next working day. Realistically, start dates depend on your requirements, and we’ll confirm these during a quick consultation call and once contracts are signed. The important thing is, we move far faster than traditional agencies or subscription services, who can take weeks to onboard. Our goal is to get you working with your Creative Partner as soon as possible so you see results quickly.
Can you help us with strategy as well as design?
Yes. Strategy can be treated just like any other task in your subscription. Whether it’s a creative review, campaign direction, or aligning design output with your wider business goals, our senior team are equipped to support. Unlike many competitors who only offer production, our team brings 360-degree marketing experience across design, web, SEO, content and paid media, so you get advice and ideas that connect directly to business outcomes.
Can you support WCAG accessibility compliance?
Yes. Our design team has extensive experience working with government bodies, public sector organisations and charities across the UK where WCAG AAA compliance is essential. Accessibility is built into our process, from colour contrast and typography choices to layout and interaction design.
If accessibility is a requirement for your brand, we can ensure your designs meet the necessary standards. This is an area where many agencies fall short, freelancers are often unaware of the requirements, and subscription services rarely cover it. With us, you can get design that looks great and is accessible to all users.
